Tsu-Ching opera news

Opera

Lyric soprano Tsu-Ching Yu was in grade 7 when her classmates made fun of her voice commenting that it sounded operatic.  At the time, she had no idea what opera meant and little did she know she would someday be an opera singer.    Her elementary school music teacher Arpad Molnar voluntarily gave Tsu-Ching lessons during lunch and after school and inspired her to become a dramatic soprano one day.  She is also very grateful for an "uncle" who urged her parents to give her singing lessons and there began her formal singing journey during her last year of high school.

Today, Tsu-Ching works with Opera by Request under the direction of William Shookhoff. She has recently gave a recital in November 2014 as well as a Spanish zarzuela the month later.
